Simchat Torah (the joy of the Torah) is a celebration of the Torah. It brings the readings of the 5 books of Moses to its conclusion in Dueteronomy, but also starts the yearly cycle over with Genesis. As a congregation, we will all take turns rerolling the scroll back to it’s beginning.
