“They read from the Torah Scroll of God, distinctly explaining it and giving insight. Thus, they understood what was read. Day after day from the first day to the last day, he read from the scroll of the Torah of God. (Nehemiah 8:8, 18a)”

Following our morning service, we engage in the “weekly conversation,” joining together with Jewish communities across the globe to examine a section of the books of Moses along with a parallel section from our prophets.

This “weekly conversation” has been an ongoing practice of our people dating back to the days of our return from Babylonian captivity. Each week we examine and discuss the weekly readings that we may grow wise from our studies in the Scriptures.
